PRIVATE COLLECTION - THE CATTLE

Be sure to scroll below the slide show for much more

"The smaller porcelain cattle family:  We made these in hereford, angus and holstien families and singles. The bulls measure 6" long.

The large single bull:  The lighter bull you see above is our first version out of the kiln.  It was a test piece. The color is too light so it was corrected. This bull was made with attached horns and ears. They were so fragile Joe designed the one with horns and ears already attached later .

The revised  darker bull with attached horns and ears also had his tail attached to help prevent breakage. Body 8" in length. This was modeled from a live animal outside the studio. Ranchers had their brands carved in the exact area on the animal and darkened to look real"     ~Eunice
