The book will be available on June 1st (maybe earlier) as a "print on demand" publication through http://blurb.com , which lets allows each customer to order their book individually from Blurb. Each book is shipped directly to the customer, packaged to the hilt. They really do a wonderful job with the entire process of customizing and delivering my books.
The cost of the book at it's current size of 11x13" will be around 165.00 (plus postage) printed on photography grade professional quality stock, with a hard cover that is laminated with the cover art. The pages are very thick with a slightly pearlized finish so each page is like a fine art print.
We are also making the identical book available in an 8x10" version with the same quality paper/cover choices for those who don't want the coffee table size for around $99.00 (plus postage)
These are not inexpensive books but will most certainly a treasured "collectors" item. We are putting a very small markup on the book so are not making much of a profit at all. Since I put all the work into the book for mom's gift last Xmas, we wanted to make it available to anyone who is interested for a limited time. It is stunning quality. Everyone who sees mom's copy is shocked at the clarity of the photos and thickness of the paper too.
My mom Eunice (and myself as the author) will sign "bookplates" if book buyers wish to have one to permanently attach to the inside of the cover (peel and stick archival and permanent adhesive on back of book plate) There will be a small charge for postage on those book plates
